I read a fascinating article recently about suffering from John Feinberg. It is quite short but very good.

The first time I saw his wife in a wheel chair outside his office, I thought it must be his mother - she looks so frail and much older than him. I have since learned that it was his wife, and have been deeply touched by his tender and nurturing care of her around campus, and was privileged to have classroom discussions about his situation and have heard him pray. This man knows what he is talking about and lives his convictions.
