It's 2006. Do *You* Know Where Your Strong's Concordance Is?

Where is your Strong's concordance? If you are reading this you have a computer, and you probably have at least one Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. So where is it? Do you still use it or have you switched to an electronic concordance?

Mine are sitting on a shelf in my office, and I now use Bibleworks. I am not certain where the newer one came from, but the other is an heirloom. My mom and one of her sisters gave it to my grandfather 30 years ago, and inscribed in the front cover, “Daddy, As you study his word, may your life reflect the love of Christ Jesus.” I inherited it from him.

I am considering taking the newer one to Goodwill or trying to sell it on Ebay.

But what about your Strong’s Concordance? Does it have a story? Is it put out to pasture? Do you still use it?

and don't forget the Englishman's Greek Concordance
i, too, have Bibleworks, and use it with regularity.  however, i use my Strongs (actually, its called the Strongest, and is for the NASB) and my Englishman's Greek Concordance with some freqency.  sometimes they seem quicker and easier to scan at a glance...and i love the feel of books in my hands...

i also have an LP player and lots of big band vinyls and am in the beginning stages of rebuilding a 1978 Chevy Custom 20 with a small block, 4 bolt main 350 in it.  i have an appreciation for anitquities.

A Strong's What? I can't believe you still use a Strong's. I still have an exhaustive Greek NT concordance and an exhaustive Concordance to the LXX, but I rarely use either of them. Bibleworks is so much easier.

I also have an LP, however, as well an 8-track player. My LP's include such favorites as "Sesame Street Disco," 6 versions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Glenn Miller.
