Happy Birthday Theoblogian.org.

One year and counting

Posted Saturday, June 10, 2006 by Brian Beers

June 10th, 2005 Theoblogian was unveiled. Thank you to all of you who have come by and enjoyed, endured or otherwise read what we have written. This has been an interesting year. Most of you appreciated what we have written, a few have even been offended. I understand this could be considered a badge of honor, but I just want to acknowledge each of my fellow theoblogians.

Sam,

Your enthusiasm when I proposed the idea of Theoblogian encouraged me to make it a reality.

Dr. Vreeland,

Your series on The Privileged Planet gave us confidence that Theoblogian could continue.

Charlie,

You joined us in December, and helped us take our writing to a higher level.

Josh,

It has been good to see you around again lately. Your thoughts are welcome.

Adam,

Thank you for your historical perspective, and your eagerness to set me straight on the image of God.

Michael,

I just finished the Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald. It was a delight. Please write more – on MacDonald or anything.

And thank you to all of you who have participated, making comments. Ming, Mark, Michael, Jason, and even Dr. Valtor, Samtor  and Charlietor as well as others.

This has been a good year, and I am eager to see what this next year brings. The website is being rewritten, ideas are in the works for new and useful tools that will eventually appear here.

And thank you, Brian, for doing all the hard work of keeping this thing going and put a fire under our feet when we get a little slow posting. This blog was a great idea!
